Salesforce CPQ to Revenue Cloud migration, planned on your timeline
Salesforce CPQ is no longer sold to new customers, and new features now go to Revenue Cloud (Agentforce Revenue Management). Your CPQ still works today. We help you move off it properly, starting with a fixed-price readiness assessment.

It's a rebuild, not an upgrade
CPQ lives in a managed package. Revenue Cloud runs on standard platform objects. Almost everything gets rebuilt.
| In Salesforce CPQ | In Revenue Cloud | |
|---|---|---|
| SBQQ quotes and quote lines | Standard Quote and Quote Line Item | |
| Bundles and product options | Product catalog with product components | |
| Price rules and discount schedules | Pricing procedures | |
| Product rules | Configuration rules | |
| Subscriptions, renewals, amendments | Assets and asset lifecycle | |
| Quote templates | Document generation |
End of sale is not end of life
These two terms get mixed up a lot, and the difference decides how much time you really have.
End of sale
Announced March 2025. This is where things are today.
- New customers can't buy Salesforce CPQ
- Existing customers can keep using it and renewing
- No new features. Salesforce's investment now goes to Revenue Cloud
End of life
Not yet formally dated. Widely expected around 2029 to 2030.
- Support for CPQ ends
- Teams that haven't moved will be migrating under pressure
- Partners with CPQ experience will be booked up
You're not in an emergency. But the longer you wait, the less say you have over timing, budget and who does the work.
What usually needs the most attention
There is no one-click migration tool. In the CPQ orgs we work on, these are the areas that decide how big the job is.
Pricing logic
Price rules, lookup tables, discount schedules and custom scripts all need to be rebuilt as pricing procedures.
Custom code on SBQQ objects
Apex triggers, flows and LWCs that touch CPQ objects have to be rewritten against standard objects.
Renewals and amendments
How you handle subscriptions, co-terming and upgrades changes completely in Revenue Cloud.
Quote documents
CPQ quote templates don't carry over. Your quote PDFs need to be rebuilt.
Integrations
ERP, billing and e-signature connections built around CPQ fields need to be remapped.
Reports and history
Dashboards, forecasts and past quote data need a plan so nothing gets lost.
How we do it
Three steps, each priced upfront. You can stop after the first one and still walk away with a clear plan.
Readiness assessment
2 to 3 weeks, fixed price
We go through your CPQ setup in detail and tell you exactly what it will take to move, what can be simplified, and what it will cost.
- Full inventory of your CPQ configuration and custom code
- Mapping of each piece to Revenue Cloud
- Risk list and effort estimate
- License recommendation: Growth or Advanced, and how many seats
- A phased migration roadmap
Phased migration
Fixed price per phase
We move you in stages, so your sales team keeps quoting the whole time. No big-bang cutover.
- Product catalog and pricing
- Quoting and quote documents
- Contracts, renewals and amendments
- Data migration and a parallel run before cutover
Support after go-live
Monthly
We stay on to fix what comes up, train your admins, and add Agentforce quoting features when you're ready for them.
- Stabilisation and bug fixes
- Admin training and documentation
- Ongoing changes to pricing and catalog
- Agentforce for quoting and renewals
Don't pay for licenses you don't need
Revenue Cloud costs more per user than CPQ, and it's sold as an add-on to your Sales Cloud license. In many orgs, a big share of the people with CPQ licenses never actually build a quote.
Before you sign anything with Salesforce, we'll show you who really needs a Revenue Cloud seat, whether Growth or Advanced fits your business, and where your product catalog can be simplified. That alone often covers the cost of the assessment.

Common questions
Do we have to migrate off Salesforce CPQ right now?
No. CPQ keeps working and you can keep renewing it. But it won't get new features, and support is expected to end around 2029 to 2030. Planning now lets you pick the timing, usually around your next Salesforce renewal.
How long does a CPQ to Revenue Cloud migration take?
It depends on how much you've customised. A simple setup can move in a few months. Orgs with heavy pricing logic, custom code and integrations take longer. The readiness assessment gives you a real timeline for your org, not a guess.
How much does it cost?
There are two parts: the Revenue Cloud licenses you buy from Salesforce, and the implementation work. We price the assessment upfront, and after it you get a fixed price for each migration phase, so there are no open-ended hourly bills.
Will we lose our existing quotes, contracts and subscriptions?
No. Moving your historical quotes, active contracts and subscriptions is part of the plan. We run old and new side by side before cutover so you can check the numbers match.
What's the difference between Revenue Cloud Advanced and Agentforce Revenue Management?
They're the same product. Salesforce renamed Revenue Cloud Advanced to Agentforce Revenue Management in late 2025. You'll see both names used.
Do we need Revenue Cloud Advanced or Growth?
It depends on how complex your pricing, bundles and renewals are. Many teams don't need the top tier for every user. We make a recommendation as part of the assessment, before you commit to anything with Salesforce.
